Someone asked me to name my favorite recipe I tried this summer (well, that would be of the ones posted on the blog; I actually have tons more not posted yet). Since we teachers resume work today, that marks the end of summer for me (boo hoo). So, I thought about that question and scrolled through my summer posts.
It was tough to narrow it down to a single favorite recipe. Instead, I made a list of all my favorites and decided to give them awards, kind of like I used to do for my students at the end of the school year when I taught at the elementary level. As I made the list, I found it easier to select my number one favorite of the summer, but read on to find out which is my ultimate top pick.
